The nGEL Innovators: RePG Energy

The nGEL project is a collaborative journey towards a more sustainable energy future. Welcome to "The nGEL Innovators", a series dedicated to introducing the key partners of the project. Today, we are presenting to you RePG Energy, the requirement analysis, specification, demonstration and validation  leader of the nGEL project.

RePG Energy, founded in 2016 in İstanbul, Türkiye, by Hasan Ayartürk with support from TÜBİTAK BİGG, is a pioneering company which is specialised in innovative renewable energy systems. Since its inception, RePG has continuously advanced its research, development, and growth activities . The organisation develops renewable energy-based electricity generation systems for residential and industrial purposes throughout the year. It also offers systems to extend the range of renewable energy for electric and hybrid vehicles, fuel systems for conventional vehicles, propulsion systems for land and marine transport, as well as heating, cooling, HVAC, and air conditioning systems for buildings and vehicles. Additionally, RePG produces and implements freshwater production systems powered by renewable energy.


Role in the nGEL Project:

RePG Energy leads in succeeding in the requirement analysis and specification (work package 1) and demonstration and validation (work package 4) in the nGEL project.


In the requirement analysis and specification, RePG will support ZOREN in the safety analyses for demonstration activities and TES, HX, and chiller specification. In the demonstration and validation, they will manufacture and supply the 100-kW capacity ORC plant to demonstrate its increased reliability against high ambient temperatures, will support Naldeo in engineering preparation and component integration, and will support ZOREN in demonstration and validation.
